School Term Dates Change
A bank holiday has been agreed on Friday 3rd June 2022 in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. As we are on half term break on this day the additional bank holiday will be transferred to Monday 6th June.
COVID Arrangements for September 2021
We will be maintaining our COVID arrangements with masks on school site, social distancing, hand washing, one-way system and drop off and pick up arrangements at the start of the Autumn Term in order to avoid any confusion and provide a settled start to the new academic year. I hope that this will reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of our school community remains a high priority.
Start and End of the Day
The soft start and staggered end to the day have really helped with reducing parking issues in the local community and provided a calm start and end to the day so this arrangement will be continuing in September.
Please follow the ‘in and out’ system that we have established in school to drop off and pick up your children from the school wooden gate. Only children and staff are allowed past this point in order to help keep our site safe. The children have got used to the routine of coming in by themselves into the playground and settling into class quickly ready for their learning.
We will open the gates at 8:35am for KS1 and KS2 with no siblings and from 8:40am for those with Siblings.
All children need to be in class for registration at 8:50am.
For the first couple of weeks EYFS children have been provided with their own specific timetable but will then join in with the arrangements above. In order to reduce waiting around at school, if you have a sibling they can also start school with their sibling during this induction period.
Please be aware that staff will not be available to chat to individuals at the start and end of the school day. If you need to contact them, please phone to make an appointment, email them through the class page or contact the school office. Staff are extremely busy preparing classes, resources, lessons, teaching, marking and therefore may not be able to reply immediately. I would also ask you to please respect staffs own time when they are not in school.
Children can be collected at the end of the school day at the following times:
EYFS/ KS1 no siblings 3:05pm
KS2 No siblings 3:10pm

We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with their school website.
Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one of our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
